To ensure that the air keeps moving while blocking out the sun, the rain fly has zippered panels that open over the tent's vents to provide extra airflow. The rain fly also features a 3/4 length front awning over the door that protects from heat, wind, and rain.
Built to keep you cool and dry, the Cool Canyon's tent walls are constructed of heavy-duty, polyurethane-coated taffeta, so that the rain cannot penetrate the interior with a rip-stop polyethylene floor to keep ground moisture out and ensure a long lasting performance. Superior ventilation is provided thanks to the tent's large D-style front door and rear window, both equipped with "no-see-um" mesh and zippered storm flaps. No-see-um mesh side panels offer further cross ventilation and can be either protected by the rain fly, or exposed by the rain fly's zippered panel design, depending on your needs.
Comfortable Livability: The Cool Canyon's square dome shape design delivers standing room up to 5.4 feet high and allows for up to five campers to sleep comfortably. Measuring 8 by 10 feet, the tent accommodates a row of 4 sleepers and a fifth sleeper at the tent's base. Equipped with a large, D-shaped doorway, getting in and out of the tent is comfortable and easy. A mud mat prevents dirt from getting tracked into the tent, and the ample ventilation ensures that everyone will sleep comfortably.
Easy Set-Up: The Cool Canyon features a two-pole pin and ring frame system with shock-corded poles for quick and easy set up. Shock corded poles ensure that you will never lose pieces of the frame, and with only two poles, the set up of this tent is refreshingly uncomplicated. Rather than having to thread the long poles through endless fabric sleeves that may tear or bunch up, the Cool Canyon is equipped with durable speed clips that secure the tent to the frame.
