Foregoing all of the bells and whistles of higher-priced tents, the no-frills Grand Mesa 6 offers solid construction and functional design at an affordable price. The Grand Mesa 6 provides an impressive 99 sq. ft. of interior space and a vestibule offers 29 sq. ft. of additional exterior space for stowing gear and muddy boots. The combination of sidewall vents and mesh fabric used on the tent body provides excellent ventilation for combating condensation build-up and keeping you cool during warm weather. The Grand Mesa 6 uses color coded clip construction and mini-sleeves at the highest point of the roof of the tent. This design keeps set-up easy, but also provides a greater measure of strength and stability. The freestanding design of the Grand Mesa 6 allows you to pitch the tent and then move it around your campsite to find the optimum position, eliminating an uncomfortable night's sleep over an exposed root or rock. The PU polyester-taffeta rainfly and taped seams of the Kelty Grand Mesa 6 protect the interior of the tent from wind and rain.
