The rugged, lightweight Tornado 6 tent is an ideal choice for both backpacking and car camping. The six-person tent features a sturdy three-pole design that's extremely stable in gusty weather, along with an extended bib on the fly front that provides ample protection from the elements.
The Tornado sleeps up to 6 people in its 88-square-foot main body. The tent's high side walls, meanwhile, make the Tornado 6 feel roomier than many of its contemporaries, so you can move around freely when settling down for the night. And campers will love the tent's twin doors, which make it easy to exit or enter the tent while also providing greater air ventilation throughout the evening.
The Tornado 6 is also water-resistant, with delta panels and a minimum 2,000mm polyurethane waterproof coating that keeps rain well away from the tent floor and walls. Add in a bathtub-style floor with its own polyurethane coating and waterproof hot-taped seams and you have a tent that stands up admirably to both drizzles and serious rainstorms. Other details include no-see-um mesh panels on the interior walls for improved ventilation; heavy-duty aluminum poles for superior strength and structural integrity; durable #10 nylon coil zippers on all doors and #8s on all windows; heavy-duty guy points; and a large gear loft for added storage space. The Tornado 6 comes with all the necessary tent pegs, guy lines, and storage sacks for the tent, pegs, and poles.
