The two-pole rectangular tent--which includes an intuitive clip-sleeve pole system--is fully weatherproof, with a polyester flysheet coated with a minimum 2,000 PU waterproof material, along with extra UV-resistant treatment on the fabric for added protection against damaging UV rays. Add in a bathtub-style floor with its own polyurethane coating and waterproof hot-taped seams and you have a tent that stands up admirably to both drizzles and serious rainstorms. The tent also includes a front-poled vestibule that provides extra storage space for your bags and gear. Finally, the tent's large D-style door includes a no-see-um mesh window that provides plenty of ventilation on warm evenings. The North Star 5 tent, which includes heavy-duty fiberglass poles for reliability and strength, sleeps up to five people.
