Sure to delight ounce-counting thru-hikers, the NEMO Meta 2P tent uses lightweight construction to serve as a reliable sub-3 pound shelter for two. Pitched with two trekking poles (not included), the Meta 2P has a packed size of just 5" by 7". Measuring 96" x 53", the streamlined Meta 2P provides 37 square feet of interior space. Pitched with two trekking poles (not included), the Meta 2P has a 43" peak height that allows easy access to the interior of the tent. A unique grommeted design secures the trekking pole in place, ensuring a sturdier pitch than is found on many other "trekking pole" tents. The hybrid single-wall design incorporates a rainfly that creates two large vestibules for a total of 22 square feet of protected exterior storage space. The unique vestibule design of the Meta 2P allows you to keep the doors open in light rain for better crossflow. Two large vents at the top of the tent keep fresh air circulating through the tent and lower, multiple vents increase airflow in fair and warm weather. Mesh fabric on the interior face of the Meta 2P promotes airflow and helps to fend off condensation. High tenacity 20D PU nylon on the shell and vestibule provide lightweight, waterproof protection. All seams are tape-sealed to fully protect the Meta 2P from the elements.
