Chinook tents are ruggedly built, with close attention to all those little details that can make or break a night in the great outdoors. Every tent in the company's product line has polyester flysheets with a minimum 2,000-millimeter-rated polyurethane (PU) waterproof coating and extra UV-resistant treatment to protect fabric from the sun's damaging rays. Bathtub-style floors have the same PU coating, and all main floors and fly seams are factory polyurethane hot-taped for maximum waterproofing. Extremely durable #10 nylon coil zippers on all doors and #8 zippers on all windows hold up to years of tugs and yanks.
