When speed and weight are the most important factors, the lightweight Seedhouse 2 two-person tent rules the day. The three-season tent is equipped with an intuitive hub/pole design that sets up quickly.
The Seedhouse 2 includes an ultra-lightweight fly that doubles as a standalone shelter. Simply connect the lightweight aluminum poles, and then attach the tent body to the pole frame using the plastic clips. In just a few quick minutes, you'll be cooking dinner for the family or lounging by the river. The Seedhouse 2's tent body, meanwhile, is made of a lightweight nylon mesh that packs lightly while offering excellent cross-ventilation. Big Agnes complements the body with a lightweight silicone-treated nylon ripstop fly coated with 1,200mm waterproof polyurethane. Even with the poles, tent body, stakes, guylines, instructions, and packaging, the Seedhouse 2 weighs a mere 4 pounds 3 ounces.
Space-wise, the Seedhouse 2 offers 28 square feet of living area, enough room for a pair of campers or a single camper and his or her gear. The tent sports another 8 square feet under its front vestibule, which includes a storm flap over the zipper for added weather protection. And campers will love the two mesh floor pockets, the perfect space for iPods, cell phones, wallets, books, and camp accessories. Other features include a durable nylon floor with a waterproof polyurethane coating; a D-shaped door; a vestibule window; and 11 superlight aluminum stakes.
The tent is compatible with such additional accessories as a specially designed Seedhouse 2 footprint and a Triangle gear loft. Both accessories are sold separately.
The tent's 28 square feet of living space sleeps up to 2 people. Specifications

About Big Agnes
Big Agnes is either a rocky peak in the Mt. Zirkel Wilderness Area outside of Colorado's Steamboat Springs, a laid-back mountain-town mama, or dependable backcountry gear, depending on whom you ask. The Big Agnes founders think it represents a little bit of each and everything in between. The folks at Big Agnes have spent a lot of time in the Colorado backcountry, giving them a deep appreciation of local history, places, peaks, and rivers. From the Cross Mountain, named after a Yampa River canyon known for classic Class IV/V whitewater, to the Encampment, one of the country's most scenic wilderness river runs, to more obvious choices like the Divide Series, the company names its products after some of the most fascinating landmarks in the region. The spring runoff near Steamboat is also pretty spectacular, so Big Agnes included a few favorite
