The Backcountry 2 is a freestanding 2 person tent that is roomy and well ventilated. It is easily the most popular 2 person backpacking tent in our retail store. It is a great choice for scouts who are backpacking because it is roomier, lighter and easier to set up than most scout type tents. The large side entry Race Track door makes it easy to to get in and out while the offset door window is right where your head goes for excellent ventilation. Additional ventilation is provided by the closable rear window and roof vent. Other features include a short pack length (15"), aluminum poles and factory sealed main fly and floor seams.
