Add a little privacy to your family camping trips with the Osage seven-person, three-room tent from ALPS Mountaineering. The freestanding four-pole tent is easy to set up, with shock-corded fiberglass poles and a ring-and-pin system at the corners. As a result, you don't have to waste time situating the tent when you could be hiking or kicking back at the campfire. The tent's body is made of lightweight but strong polyester taffeta fabrics, with a multi-pass urethane coating on the fly and floor providing maximum weather protection. And to further protect the tent from inclement weather, the Osage includes factory seals on the seams and floor and guy-out loops on the fly. The design helps the tent resist rainy, windy weather conditions.
The tent also offers a side-hinging door for easy entry and exit, along with two large mesh windows and three mesh vents for extra ventilation in hot, muggy weather. Perhaps the coolest feature, however, is the multi-room design, which includes two removable dividers that splits the tent into three separate rooms. With the dividers down, you can create three bedrooms for private sleeping, or you can remove the dividers to create a single large sleeping or eating space. Other features include mesh storage pockets, a gear loft, a breathable 1.9-ounce nylon taffeta roof, and a hooded fly at the front and rear (the fly attaches with stress-absorbing shock cords and S-hooks). Equipped with a zippered tent bag, the Osage is also available in one- and two-room designs.
